It’s time to re-direct the needle of the compass. The North is everywhere and on this evening in Berlin. A new publishing house, named after and based in the North, not in the very north, but from the kingdom of Denmark has made it its goal to provide Germany with new literature from the Nordic countries.

Especially in times where extremely individualised people from the big cities live right next to each other without ever getting the slightest glimpse of the lives of the others, we should get to know our neighbours – or at least know of them. Now, is your chance. The fresh literature from Nord Verlag comes from the North, known by experts as Scandinavia. Whether or not Iceland or Finland is included, who knows. The important thing is that this evening will be free from crime novels based in small cities with absurd murder rates.

After the readings and talks, the evening will end with a musical desert by the GOLD duo so that the letter department of your super brains isn’t overburdened.

The entrance fee is 5 euros.

The evening is supported by NORLA.
