Mats Eilertsen is one of the most distinctive and headstrong Norwegian bass players, and to jazzahead! he will be playing with his trio.

He has worked with a number of the best Norwegian musicians like Trygve Seim, Hakon Kornstad or Solveig Slettahjell.
For a couple of years now, he has been playing with his own trio, with compatriot Thomas Strønen on the drums and Dutch upcoming pianist Harmen Fraanje.
Their new record "And Then Comes The Night“ is their first on ECM and out just now.
