Ingun Bjørnsgaard and her company has made a name for themselves and is recognized as one of the most influential dance companies of Scandinavia. The performance at jazzahead will be the German premiere for this project.

Being established for more than 25 years, the company of norwegian choreographer Ingun Bjørnsgaard has made itself a name as one of the most influential dance companies of scandinavia.
Being known for her profound artistic approach towards the relationship between dance and music, Bjørnsgaards current works explore constructions of femininity and masculinity, creating complex as well as fascinating imageries blent with the specially composed music of pianist Christian Wallumrød (ECM Records). In cooperation with TANZ Bremen and Theater Bremen, both pieces will see their German premiere at jazzahead!
