Experience Filmland Norway at DFF - Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum in October 2019!
In October, DFF presents an overview of Norwegian filmmaking from the silent film era to the present day, which focuses, among other things, on the occupation history of Norway, its landscape and the culture of the Sami people. In addition to literary adaptations by Henrik Ibsen and Knut Hamsun, the rich production of children's and youth films as well as films by women directors are on the program. Films by Edith Calmar, Arne Skounen, Erik Lochen, Liv Ullmann, Anja Breien, Hans Petter Moland and Joachim Trier (selection) are on display.
